Map showing number of days above 100°F, 2080-2099, under a higher emissions scenario

This map shows the average number of days per year locations can expect to exceed 100°F by the end of this century, if greenhouse gas emissions continue increasing. In this potential future, parts of Texas that experienced 10 to 20 days of 100°F weather per year in recent decades may experience more than 100 days over 100° by the end of the century.
